Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a prominent joint venture under the Ministry of Power, has proudly announced the appointment of A. Chandra Sekhara Reddy as its new National Adviser for Government Affairs and Media. Before stepping into this crucial role, Reddy distinguished himself as a media adviser for the Southern States and Union Territories, serving at the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
In his new capacity, Mr. Reddy will be instrumental in shaping comprehensive communication strategies across various platforms, including print, electronic, digital, and social media. He will also mentor EESL’s public relations team, guiding media campaigns and fostering collaboration with State Designated Agencies and other key stakeholders for the successful execution of national and international workshops.
A significant part of Mr. Reddy’s mandate will be to champion Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), a visionary initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at COP26, promoting sustainable living practices. With over a decade of experience as CEO of the AP State Energy Conservation Mission (SECM), Mr. Reddy brings invaluable expertise. Expressing his sincere gratitude, Mr. Reddy thanked EESL CEO Akhilesh Kumar Dixit for this esteemed opportunity to contribute to the nation’s energy efficiency goals.
