In a concerning development, a Manipur Police convoy faced an aggressive mob attack in Longja village, Chandel district. Officials confirmed the incident, which occurred on the night of October 1, 2025, and resulted in damage to the windshields of several police vehicles, including one belonging to the Additional Superintendent of Chandel district. This assault highlights the persistent and intense tensions plaguing the region. Local reports indicate that Kuki women actively blocked the convoy, preventing its further movement.
