Your Ultimate Guide to Arknights Endfield: Release Date, Epic Gameplay, and All the Latest Buzz!

September 17, 2025

Reading Time: 9 min

Wondering about the Arknights Endfield release date? Get ready, because Hypergryph, the brilliant minds behind the original Arknights mobile tower defense hit, are expanding their universe into a stunning 3D world. But don’t mistake this for just another anime gacha RPG; *Endfield* is doubling down on the series’ strengths, putting robust base-building front and center.

First teased in 2022, *Arknights Endfield* has been generating serious buzz. It’s poised to stand alongside giants like *Genshin Impact* and *Wuthering Waves* in the bustling open-world gacha game scene, promising to consume even more of your precious gaming time. Beyond its anticipated launch, we’ve gathered all the latest trailers, gameplay reveals, and our exclusive beta impressions to give you the full picture.

When Can You Play? The Arknights Endfield Release Date Window

Get ready! The official Arknights Endfield release date window is set for early 2026. This highly anticipated title will be available across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS.

Initially, we expected *Endfield* in 2025, but publisher Gryphline has since confirmed a slight delay, pushing the launch into next year.

Typically, Chinese gacha titles kick off extensive pre-registration campaigns at least a month before release to build hype and player numbers. Since we haven’t seen one yet, it suggests *Arknights Endfield* will likely launch closer to mid-to-late 2026.

Recent whispers of a third closed beta test indicate that Hypergryph is nearing completion. The game’s presence at major events like Anime Expo, Japan Expo, and Gamescom 2025 strongly hints at an impending marketing blitz after a period of relative quiet.

Prior to Gryphline’s update, there was widespread speculation of an August 2025 release. However, the popular theory that these licenses expire after a year has been disproven.

Catch All the Arknights Endfield Trailers Here!

Since its initial Premiere Teaser debuted in March 2022, *Arknights Endfield* has unveiled a compelling collection of trailers. That first 30-second glimpse, while not revealing much concrete information, offered an exciting preview of the visual style Hypergryph is aiming for.

The first significant trailer for Endfield landed in October 2023. This impressive three-minute reveal dives deep into the game’s core narrative: Endfield Industries dispatches you, the Endministrator, on a crucial mission to gather vital data.

Naturally, your task won’t be simple. The Aggeloi, *Endfield*’s primary enemy faction, are a formidable presence across Talos-II, the planet where the game unfolds. Luckily, you won’t face them alone; the trailer showcases the Endministrator battling alongside a diverse cast of characters, many of whom you’ll likely summon via the game’s gacha system. We also get a glimpse of the impressive structures you’ll use to build up your bases.

Just a month later, November 2023 brought the “Talos-II Awakening” trailer. While light on new gameplay, it delivered a substantial lore drop, delving into the Endministrator’s vital role in humanity’s survival. Apparently, the Endministrator is held in stasis, awakened only during critical crises to safeguard civilization, with memories wiped upon returning to hibernation after each mission.

December 2023 saw *Endfield*’s first Technical Test. This particular snippet didn’t introduce fresh information but provided exciting new combat footage and cinematic sequences.

After a year-long wait, *Endfield* returned with an incredible new trailer. This three-minute reintroduction, perfectly complemented by a powerful cinematic rock track from Starset, served as an exceptional promotion for the January 2025 beta.

Our most recent look came with the “Those Who Stayed” trailer, vividly portraying the harsh realities of life on Talos-II. The malignant disease, Oripathy, remains uncured, with only suppressant medication offering relief. We hope the journey through *Endfield* will uncover the secrets of this illness and the hostile creatures constantly imperiling human existence.

Exploring the World of Arknights Endfield: Gameplay Breakdown

*Arknights Endfield* masterfully blends the engaging combat and expansive exploration typical of open-world RPGs with deep base-building mechanics. While Hypergryph’s initial gameplay demo didn’t spotlight the construction aspect, it provided a rich preview of the immersive world awaiting players.

The second gameplay teaser offers a much clearer view of the construction system. The Endministrator’s mission involves setting up a new industrial complex while fending off enemies. It’s incredibly exciting to see party members actively fighting alongside you, and yes, there are even zipwires to traverse your base!

December 2024 brought the latest gameplay showcase, thoroughly demonstrating a more refined production operation – truly embodying the spirit of “the factory must grow.” The presentation was impressive, highlighting significant polish in both combat and visuals. The battle system, in particular, feels much more fluid compared to the 2023 tech test, a testament to the developers’ commitment to substantial system improvements.

First Look: Our Arknights Endfield Beta Impressions

After diving into the latest closed beta test this January, our initial impressions are clear: don’t expect *Endfield* to simply replicate the experience of *Genshin Impact*, *Wuthering Waves*, or other popular open-world gacha titles currently dominating the scene.

The core of *Endfield*’s experience revolves around its innovative factory system, the AIC, which expands dynamically as you explore new regions. This system allows you to produce virtually everything you need, from essential base components to crucial character equipment – no tedious artifact farming required, which is a fantastic relief! While initially a bit overwhelming, the AIC is well-tutorialized and quickly becomes intuitive. Materials are gathered from diverse regions, and resource collection can even be automated, saving you precious time. If building and managing a sprawling factory isn’t your cup of tea, *Endfield* might not be the gacha game for you, and that’s perfectly fine!

Combat presents a mixed bag of experiences. Witnessing all your painstakingly acquired characters battling simultaneously on screen is truly impressive and a feature we hope to see more often. Team composition focuses on various synergies, including elemental damage, SP (ability action bar) recovery, and coordinated follow-up attacks. This current iteration of *Endfield*’s combat system feels significantly smoother than previous versions. However, the dodging mechanic currently feels somewhat uninspired, though this is an aspect Hypergryph could easily refine before launch.

Arknights Endfield release date: Endmin talking to Da Pan

Regarding the world, Talos-II doesn’t quite match the immediate exploration appeal of realms like Teyvat or Solaris-3. However, the strong industrial aesthetic of its early regions perfectly complements the thematic vision the developers are pursuing. We anticipate the mysterious moon will reveal many more captivating secrets as our journey progresses.

Delving into the characters and overarching narrative, we appreciated the glimpses of Endmin’s personality. Stronger personalities like Chen Qianyu and Yvonne were instrumental in driving the story forward. While charming, Perlica’s vocal range could use more dynamism, especially in the English voice-acting, given her crucial role akin to a Paimon or Abby. Overall, despite some minor direction notes, the performances from the Arknights Endfield voice actors have been compelling.

*Endfield*’s early narrative is firmly grounded, centered on Endfield Industries’ expansion into previously inaccessible regions of Talos-II. The introduction of the AIC and deployable sub-AICs makes it possible to establish outposts far from humanity’s primary base. Success, however, demands overcoming formidable Aggeloi and lawless Landbreakers, all under the enigmatic leadership of Nefirith. While the pacing is solid and features moments of urgency, the consistent, minute-to-minute tension isn’t fully realized yet. On a brighter note, the side content is excellent, offering a rich variety of missions.

Arknights Endfield release date: four Endfield characters running through a field

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: the gacha system. *Endfield*’s unconventional approach to summoning has sparked considerable debate, and discussions show no signs of slowing down. Unlike *Genshin Impact* or *Wuthering Waves*, *Endfield* features an 80-pull soft pity, followed by a hard pity at 120 pulls. Crucially, this guarantee applies only once and does not carry over between banners.

This distinct mechanic means that if you fail the 50/50 chance at 80 pulls, your pity will *not* transfer to the subsequent Arknights Endfield banner. Therefore, a strategic approach would be to only pull on limited banners once you’ve accumulated 120 pulls, ensuring you can guarantee your desired character.

While this might initially sound daunting, it’s important to remember that the base rate for pulling a six-star character in *Endfield* is notably higher than in comparable gacha titles. While it’s certainly riskier to impulsively spend pulls, you stand a better chance of acquiring characters early. For now, we’d categorize this system as “different” rather than “inherently worse” than current established methods.

Arknights Endfield release date: top-down view of the AIC

During the beta, our luck with summoning was quite challenging, requiring us to hit hard pity for both Laevatain and Yvonne. Thankfully, the beta provided enough content to earn the necessary premium currency for both pulls. It remains to be seen whether this generous amount of currency will be consistent in the final release, and how much we can expect from future events and content. Remember to grab any Arknights Endfield codes as soon as they drop to boost your chances!

That wraps up our comprehensive look at the *Arknights Endfield* release date, gameplay, and beta insights! As you prepare for launch, don’t forget to review the Arknights Endfield system requirements to ensure your setup is ready. And while you wait, explore other fantastic upcoming PC games that are sure to capture your attention this year and beyond!
