Are you ready to find every last one of Silksong’s hidden fleas? These adorable, dog-like creatures are Pharloom’s equivalent of the grubs from the first game, and your mission is to gather all 30 of them for the Fleamaster’s caravan as part of “The Lost Fleas” quest.
In Hollow Knight Silksong, you’ll embark on a grand adventure across Pharloom to rescue these 30 companions. While it’s wise to keep an eye out for these “lil awoo’ing homies” as you explore, it’ll often be easier to sweep up any missed ones once you’ve unlocked all of Hornet’s movement abilities, such as the double jump and wall jump, along with all the fast-travel Bellways on the Silksong map. Don’t stress if you’ve overlooked a few – this comprehensive list below will ensure you don’t miss a single one!
All Hollow Knight Silksong Flea Locations
Here’s your guide to tracking down all 30 of Silksong’s fleas:
1. The Marrow
Your very first flea is likely waiting for you in The Marrow. Head along the upper path of the room, carefully moving across the crumbling platforms until you spot the flea ensnared in vines. A quick slash will free it!
2. Deep Docks
To reach the second flea, you’ll need the Swift Step ability. You’ll acquire this dash move just before encountering it! Once in the area, activate one of the levers on the left to lower a block you can scale, then dash up and across to claim your prize.
3. Deep Docks
Similar to the previous flea, Swift Step is essential here to navigate the falling lava as you ascend. Head left through the hidden passage near the Bellway station to access this challenging area.
4. Deep Docks
You won’t be able to reach this third Deep Docks flea until you’ve unlocked the Clawline ability and have a Simple Key to open the area. Clear the nearby arena encounter, and the path to the flea will open up.
5. Far Fields
This flea is nestled away in the Far Fields. You can reach it by looping up and over after arriving from Deep Docks, backtracking from Pilgrim’s Rest, or heading directly west from the Bellway if you’re further into your journey.
6. Far Fields
The second Far Fields flea demands both the Drifter’s Cloak and Cling Grip to access. Destroy the explosive rock to the right of the Far Fields Bellway, then follow the newly opened path up to find this lost companion.
7. Greymoor (Kratt)
The first Greymoor flea you’ll encounter is a unique NPC named Kratt. Free him by breaking a nearby wall, and he’ll gladly offer his spa service at the caravan later!
8. Greymoor
To find the next flea, journey to the far east of Greymoor, entering Craw Lake. Ascend the massive vertical area, then gently float down to the right into the marked section. Here, you’ll discover a flea trapped inside a container.
9. Greymoor
This flea is considerably easier to reach if you possess both the Clawline and Faydown Cloak. Essentially, you’ll take a route up and over the top of Greymoor, descending into the tower where the flea awaits rescue.
10. Bellhart
Flea number ten can be recovered from the tunnels above Bellhart. We accessed this area from Shellwood by opening a hidden path and heading upwards. You’ll definitely need Cling Grip for this one, which you should have by now.
11. Shellwood
The Shellwood flea is a challenging rescue, requiring you to navigate past spitter plants and perform some floral pogo maneuvers. Head east from the bench connecting Shellwood and Moss Grotto into the large vertical tube. Hug the left wall, pogoing your way up the plants, then descend the right-hand side, carefully avoiding the spitter plants.
12. Wormways
If you’ve emerged from the west side of Shellwood or are seeking the Wanderer Crest from Moss Home, you’ll likely find yourself in the Wormways. For this flea, simply descend the right side of the central shaft and smash the wall to reveal a secret area. Follow it, and the flea is yours!
13. Hunter’s March
While exploring Hunter’s March might be tempting early on, we highly recommend waiting until you’ve unlocked Cling Grip and a crest that provides the classic pogo ability, which will make traversing this area much easier. Upon entering from The Marrow, stick to the left-hand wall, pogoing up the plants as you go. At the top of the marked area, you’ll discover a caged flea.
14. The Slab
If you’ve found yourself imprisoned in The Slab, this is the perfect opportunity to rescue another flea. After recovering your gear and the Key of Heretic, head left from the bottom of the area with the two unlockable brass floor shaft doors. Continue past the Guardfly and enter the interactive door in the background. You’ll find the flea caged within.
15. The Slab
The second flea in The Slab requires the Faydown Cloak to reach. Double jump into the opening located above the indicated bench, and there you’ll find the flea.
16. Sinner’s Road
Sinner’s Road is a challenging area, representing one of the tougher regions in the first act. However, if you brave your way through, you’ll be rewarded with saving yet another flea.
17. Bilewater
If you’ve chosen the alternate route towards the end of Silksong’s first act (you truly are the Pale King’s strongest soldier!), your next flea awaits in Bilewater. But before you can free it, you’ll need to defeat two thieving vulpine enemies. Keep those Rosaries ready!
18. Bilewater
Bilewater’s second flea is hidden near its secret bench, at the end of a treacherous area filled with traps. Proceed with extreme caution!
19. Exhaust Organ
After making your way through the Mist and into the Exhaust Organ, you’ll find this flea in a hidden room located on the upper left side of the area.
20. Blasted Steps
If you chose to bypass the optional areas (Hunter’s March, Wormways, and The Slab) and followed the intended narrative path after Bellhart and Shellwood, you’ll arrive in the Blasted Steps. Although reaching this flea appears to be a slog, it’s actually quite manageable, especially with a convenient bench on the left side of the T-section (the right leads to the Last Judge boss fight).
And those are the Hollow Knight Silksong lost fleas we’ve discovered so far. Remember, it’s always a good idea to return them to the Fleamaster every time you hit a new milestone, as their caravan conveniently relocates closer to your current progression, offering a safe haven to rest and prepare.
21. Underworks
You won’t be able to reach this Underworks flea until you’ve opened access to the eastern section of the region. Once there, simply descend to the bottom of the vertical chamber, then turn left into the flea room.
22. Mount Fay
While grabbing the Mount Fay flea on your initial ascent to acquire the Faydown Cloak might seem logical, we strongly advise against it! Your first trip up the mountain involves a constant battle against the brutal cold, which can easily lead to your demise. Instead, secure the Faydown Cloak first (it grants immunity to the frigid elements), then return to the easily missed ceiling shaft. Break through the ice above, and the flea is yours!
23. Whispering Vaults
You’ll need the Clawline ability to expertly navigate the Whispering Vaults, along with a keen sense for puzzle-solving as you position its numerous blocks. You’ll need to apply the same cleverness to reach this particular flea.
24. Songclave
Although Flea 24 resides in Songclave, you must traverse the Whispering Vaults to reach it, which means the Clawline is a prerequisite. Head up and out through the right-side exit from the vaults to Songclave, then ascend to where the flea is waiting.
25. Memorium
This next flea is quite a substantial ball of fluff indeed! Caged high in the rafters of Memorium, reaching it is a straightforward task. However, once liberated, this flea expresses its joy quite forcefully, so be prepared for a spirited encounter.
26. Putrified Ducts (Vog)
After guiding the caravan to Fleatopia in the Putrified Ducts, the Fleamaster will mention a valiant warrior flea on a mission. This is Vog, whom you’ll find in the Putrified Ducts. While typically you’d want to avoid being swallowed by the trap plants, you’ll need to get caught by one to access the hidden area where Vog currently resides.
27. Choral Chambers
While you’ll enter the Choral Chambers early in Act 2, this specific section remains inaccessible until after you’ve defeated the Cogwork Dancers. Once you can explore, head into one of the adjoining rooms to the leftmost vertical segment and navigate the platforming challenge to reach the flea.
28. Choral Chambers
This flea requires you to break two walls. First, open the wall at the bottom of the tall tube where the flea is housed to activate the fan. Then, exit and climb roughly halfway up to find the second wall. Once broken, this will allow you a leisurely current ride directly to the waiting flea.
29. Wisp Thicket
While this flea is technically in the Underworks, you must journey through Wisp Thicket to get there. To enter Wisp Thicket, double jump from just above where you found the third flea in Greymoor. Grab the bench, then proceed west and north. Upon re-entering the Underworks, prepare to navigate through revolving sawblocks to finally reach this flea.
30. Sands of Karak
The very last flea awaits you in the scorching Sands of Karak. As you platform your way across the room, keep a sharp eye out for a breakable wall that will lead you directly to this final companion.
And there you have it – every single one of the 30 Hollow Knight Silksong fleas located!
