Xiaomi has just unveiled its latest compact tablet, the Xiaomi Pad Mini, at its September 2025 launch event. This new device arrived alongside other notable products like the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Xiaomi 15T, and Xiaomi 15T Pro. The Xiaomi Pad Mini boasts an 8.8-inch display, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chip, and features a substantial 7,500mAh battery. It will be available in two distinct color options and various storage configurations.

The Xiaomi Pad Mini is priced starting at $429 (approximately Rs. 37,000) for the model equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. While a more premium variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will also be offered, its price has not yet been announced. Consumers can choose between attractive Purple and classic Gray colorways. Additionally, compatible accessories such as the Xiaomi Focus Pen or the Redmi Smart Pen stylus, and the Xiaomi Pad Mini Cover will be available for purchase.

For photography and video calls, the tablet includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 1/3.06-inch sensor and f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps and 1080p videos at 30fps. On the front, an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a 1/4-inch sensor and f/2.28 aperture ensures clear self-portraits and video calls.
