Microsoft is rolling out an impressive second wave of titles for Xbox Game Pass this October, bringing a diverse collection of games to subscribers. Get ready to powerwash your worries away with PowerWash Simulator 2, embark on a mech-filled adventure in Bounty Star, and delve into a captivating action-RPG world with The Outer Worlds 2. All three are set to launch directly onto Game Pass!
Xbox Game Pass: October’s Second Wave and Beyond
Xbox recently detailed the upcoming additions for late October and early November. Gamers with a Game Pass Premium subscription can already enjoy Commandos: Origins and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 across Xbox consoles, Cloud, and PC.
Mark your calendars for October 23, as PowerWash Simulator 2 (developed by FuturLab) and Bounty Star arrive as day-one titles. PowerWash Simulator 2, the highly anticipated sequel, promises fresh locations and innovative cleaning challenges. Meanwhile, Bounty Star offers a thrilling 3D mech combat experience complete with base-building mechanics. Both games will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members from day one.
On October 24, subscribers can get an early look at Super Fantasy Kingdom, a roguelite city builder, available exclusively for PC Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
As the month draws to a close, the survival roguelite title Halls of Torment joins Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC tiers on October 28. Following closely, the highly anticipated first-party Xbox title, The Outer Worlds 2, will make its day-one debut on October 29. This Obsidian RPG is a standalone sequel to The Outer Wilds, promising a new narrative and world to explore.
Looking ahead to November 4, two more titles join the service: Football Manager 26 and the sci-fi adventure 1000xResist. Football Manager 26 will be a day-one launch for PC, Cloud, and Xbox Consoles, accessible to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users. 1000xResist will also be available to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers.
However, as new games arrive, some must depart. Microsoft has confirmed that Jusant, Metal Slug Tactics, and Return to Monkey Island will leave Game Pass on October 31.
It’s worth noting that earlier this month, Microsoft also announced significant changes to Xbox Game Pass. This included a 50 percent price hike for Game Pass Ultimate in the US, alongside the introduction of new Essential and Premium plans. These new tiers replace the previous Core and Standard options, bringing additional games, Xbox rewards, and broadened Cloud gaming support, which was previously exclusive to the Ultimate tier.
