Genshin Impact banners follow a predictable rotation, changing every few weeks like clockwork! Thankfully, Hoyoverse keeps us all in the loop with consistent updates through livestreams and social media. This means you can always plan ahead and decide exactly how to spend those precious Primogems on your favorite characters and weapons.
Given the three-week cycle for banners, the lineup of Genshin Impact characters is always evolving. This fantastic free-to-play PC game frequently introduces exciting new characters to wish for! Each limited-time character banner, also known as an “event wish,” features one highly sought-after five-star character and three four-star characters, all with boosted drop rates. Don’t forget the dedicated weapon banner, which runs parallel to the character banners and offers different powerful weapons with each update.
Current Genshin Impact Character Event Banners
The second phase of Genshin Impact’s 6.0 update banners kicked off on Tuesday, September 30, and will conclude on Tuesday, October 21. During this period, you’ll find Flins as the featured five-star character on the “Lone Light Knocks at Night” banner, while Yelan makes a grand return as the five-star highlight of the “Discerner of Enigmas” banner.
On the “Lone Light Knocks at Night” banner, you can find:
- Flins
- Aino
- Sucrose
- Dori
And the “Discerner of Enigmas” banner features:
- Yelan
- Aino
- Sucrose
- Dori
To get your hands on these incredible characters, you’ll need to use your Primogems to acquire Intertwined Fates. Each Fate costs 160 Primogems, and you’ll typically want at least ten for a guaranteed four-star (or higher) reward. Keep in mind, this guarantee could be a powerful four-star weapon instead of a character!
Current Genshin Impact Weapon Banner
The Genshin Impact weapon pity system offers an excellent opportunity to power up your favorite characters with a selection of potent four and five-star weapons. Just like with character banners, you’ll need to use Primogems to wish for these valuable armaments.
Currently, the Epitome Invocation banner features Bloodsoaked Ruins as Flins’s optimal weapon and Aqua Simulacra as the perfect choice for Yelan.
Here are the featured weapons on the current Epitome Invocation banner:
- Bloodsoaked Ruins
- Aqua Simulacra
- Lion’s Roar
- Favonius Greatsword
- Favonius Lance
- Favonius Codex
- Sacrificial Bow
These five-star weapons are almost always the absolute best choices for the characters featured on their respective banners. If you’re looking to maximize the potential of your newly acquired character, aiming for their signature weapon on the latest banner is highly recommended!
