A fresh update has landed in Call of Duty: Warzone on September 16. Although it’s a relatively small patch, it delivers some important bug fixes and adjusts Season 5’s popular Deadline limited-time mode.
The recent Season 5 Reloaded introduced the exciting Deadline limited-time mode, and this new update fine-tunes its rules for an even better experience. Players will now find that circles two, three, and four are extended by an additional 30 seconds each. According to the developers, this adjustment grants extra time for strategic coordination and point accumulation, while also easing the pace of the gas for a bit more breathing room.

To keep the action flowing, Deadline’s respawn timers have been shortened by five seconds, allowing players to rejoin the fight more swiftly. Furthermore, the “Round End” warning now appears a full 60 seconds before the round concludes, an increase from the previous 30-second heads-up.
Regarding bug fixes, this update resolves an issue that previously stopped players from using their personalized parachutes and contrails. Crucially, it also eliminates an exploit that allowed players to continuously use Self-Revives.
A balance adjustment was also made to the .410 Gauge Ball ammunition, which was found to be dealing excessive damage when paired with the Riveter shotgun. Developers confirm this has now been corrected.
The comprehensive patch notes are provided below, as officially shared.
