Vivo recently unveiled its X300 Pro and X300 smartphones in China, and it appears a global launch is on the horizon. Both models have made appearances on the UAE’s TDRA certification website and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, strongly suggesting an upcoming debut in India. While an official launch date is still awaited, a reliable tipster has provided insights into their potential release schedule. It’s anticipated that the Indian variants will largely retain the impressive specifications of their Chinese counterparts, with only minor adjustments.
Vivo X300 and X300 Pro: India Launch Details Surface
According to a report citing tipster Yogesh Brar, the entire Vivo X300 series, including the standard Vivo X300 and the more advanced X300 Pro, is expected to launch in India during the first week of December. We can expect an official announcement from Vivo in the coming weeks to confirm the exact date.
Even without an official confirmation from Vivo, the recent BIS listing of these handsets serves as a strong indicator of their imminent arrival in the country.
The Indian versions of the Vivo X300 Pro and the standard Vivo X300 are generally expected to be quite similar to their Chinese counterparts. However, Vivo might introduce slight modifications, particularly concerning battery capacity.
Under the hood, the Vivo X300 Pro boasts a substantial 6,510mAh battery, while the Vivo X300 comes equipped with a 6,040mAh unit. Both devices will support rapid 90W wired charging and convenient 40W wireless charging. The Pro model features a stunning 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and Circular Polarisation 2.0 technology. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, complemented by LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and the Android 16-based OriginOS 6. Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 dust and water resistance, and immersive dual speakers.
For photography enthusiasts, the Vivo X300 Pro offers a Zeiss-optimized triple rear camera system. This setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a powerful 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, also with OIS. These cameras are further enhanced by Vivo’s V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips. The standard Vivo X300 shares the same powerful chipset and operating system but comes with a slightly smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED display. Its camera configuration differs, featuring a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-602 periscope sensor. Both the X300 and X300 Pro are equipped with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for stunning selfies.
