Rumors are circulating that the Vivo X300 series is set to debut in India this December, approximately two months after its initial launch in China. This new lineup, featuring both the Vivo X300 Pro and the standard Vivo X300, will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, which was introduced in September. In the weeks leading up to its anticipated Indian unveiling, a leaked render of the standard Vivo X300 has emerged online. A well-known tipster suggests that this model could come in a unique red color, exclusively for the Indian market. While the phone is available globally in Halo Pink and Phantom Black, and in China with four distinct color options, this new red variant would be a special addition for India.
Vivo X300 Color Options and Indian Availability (Anticipated)
Tipster Sanju Choudhary recently shared a render showcasing the Vivo X300 in a striking red finish, which is reportedly an India-exclusive option. The device, along with the Vivo X300 Pro, is expected to launch in the country sometime in December. The leaked image indicates that the Indian version will likely maintain the same design as its Chinese and global counterparts. However, it’s important to remember that Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has not yet officially confirmed these launch details for India.
A recent social media post from Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu) on October 31, 2025, showed a render and stated: “VIVO X300 exclusive Red color for India 🙂 Launch in December, guess the price 👀”
Furthermore, tech blogger Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) added in another social media post (on X, formerly Twitter) that this rumored India-exclusive red color option will only be available for the standard Vivo X300. According to his claims, neither the Vivo X300 Pro nor the Vivo X300 FE models will feature this particular shade.
The Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 were first introduced globally on October 30, following their earlier launch in China on October 13. Globally, the base model offers Halo Pink and Phantom Black. In contrast, Chinese consumers have a choice of four colors: Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and a shade translated as “Lucky Colour.”
Vivo’s upcoming flagship handsets for India are generally expected to mirror the specifications of their Chinese and European counterparts. For instance, the Vivo X300 is equipped with a 6.31-inch flat Q10+ LTPO AMOLED display, offering a sharp 1,216×2,640 pixel resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, up to a 300Hz touch sampling rate, support for 1.07 billion colors, and a pixel density of 452ppi.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. This is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. The device also incorporates a V3+ Imaging chip and a Mali G1-Ultra GPU to enhance performance.
For photography and videography, the Vivo X300 features a sophisticated Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system. This setup is highlighted by a powerful 200-megapixel primary camera that includes optical image stabilization (OIS). Complementing this, there’s a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope camera, all neatly arranged within a circular camera module.
On the front, the phone sports a 50-megapixel selfie camera discreetly placed within a hole-punch cutout. Powering all these features is a robust 5,360mAh battery, supported by 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging capabilities.
