Genshin Impact banners follow a predictable, precise schedule, ensuring players always know what exciting content is on the horizon thanks to consistent updates from Hoyoverse. The developers keep the community well-informed through regular livestreams and social media announcements, allowing you to perfectly plan how to spend your precious Primogems.
With a new banner arriving every three weeks, the lineup of Genshin Impact characters is constantly evolving. This popular free PC game regularly introduces two brand-new characters to wish for. Every limited-time character banner, or event wish, features a five-star character alongside three four-star characters, all with increased drop rates. Complementing these is a Genshin Impact weapon banner, which also rotates with each update, offering powerful gear.
Current Genshin Impact Character Event Banners
The second phase of Genshin Impact’s 6.0 update banners kicked off on Tuesday, September 30, and will conclude on Tuesday, October 21. Headlining these banners are Flins, the five-star character on the ‘Lone Light Knocks at Night’ banner, and Yelan, making her return as the five-star character on the ‘Discerner of Enigmas’ banner.
The ‘Lone Light Knocks at Night’ banner features:
- Flins
- Aino
- Sucrose
- Dori
The ‘Discerner of Enigmas’ banner features:
- Yelan
- Aino
- Sucrose
- Dori
To acquire the characters on these event banners, you’ll need to spend Primogems to purchase Intertwined Fates. Each Fate costs 160 Primogems, and a minimum of ten Fates guarantees a four-star or higher reward. Keep in mind that this doesn’t always guarantee a character; you might sometimes receive a four-star weapon instead.
Current Genshin Impact Weapon Banner
The Genshin Impact weapon pity system offers you the chance to significantly boost your characters’ strength with a range of four- and five-star weapons. Just like character banners, acquiring these weapons requires spending Primogems on wishes.
For the ongoing ‘Epitome Invocation’ banner, the best-in-slot weapon for Flins is Bloodsoaked Ruins, while Aqua Simulacra is the top choice for Yelan.
The featured weapons on the current ‘Epitome Invocation’ banner are:
- Bloodsoaked Ruins
- Aqua Simulacra
- Lion’s Roar
- Favonius Greatsword
- Favonius Lance
- Favonius Codex
- Sacrificial Bow
The five-star weapons featured are always tailored to be the ultimate companions for the characters appearing on the co-current character banners. If you’re aiming to maximize the potential of your newly acquired character, wishing on the corresponding weapon banner is often a wise move.
Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish Banner
The Chronicled Wish banner has made its return in Genshin Impact 6.0, providing players with an opportunity to obtain characters and their signature weapons from the Sumeru region. The ‘Rowing Chalice of Dewgrass’ Chronicled Wish banner ran from September 9 to September 30. Unfortunately, this particular banner is not active during the second phase of the current update.
The five-star characters previously featured in the ‘Rowing Chalice of Dewgrass’ Chronicled Wish banner were:
- Dehya
- Alhaitham
- Wanderer
- Cyno
- Nilou
- Tighnari
Next Genshin Impact Character Event Banners
Looking ahead, we already know that Nefer is confirmed to arrive in Genshin Impact 6.1 and is highly anticipated to be featured in the first banner of that update. While leaks suggest that fan-favorites Arlecchino and Zhongli might make a return in the second phase, official confirmation will typically arrive closer to the 6.1 livestream event.
