Unveiling Steam Next Fest’s Top 50 Demos: A Deep Dive into Horror and Adventure Hits

Steam Next Fest has wrapped up, and the official list of the 50 most-played demos from the week-long event is out! This year’s selection was dominated by thrilling horror, immersive adventure, deep RPGs, and engaging simulation games, with surprisingly fewer roguelike and racing titles making the cut.

Among the standout titles was ‘Final Sentence,’ an incredibly unique battle-royale typing game where failing to keep pace means a fatal in-game end for players. Talk about high stakes!

We were also captivated by ‘The Cube, Save Us,’ an extraction shooter boasting a truly striking visual aesthetic.

It was no surprise to see ‘Marvel Cosmic Invasion’ make the list, as it’s been on our radar for some time. More unexpectedly, ‘Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown’ also charted, offering players an exciting opportunity to explore and even rewrite narratives from the beloved series.
