Garmin recently unveiled its latest additions to the global smartwatch market: the Venu 4 and Instinct Crossover AMOLED. These impressive devices come equipped with brilliant AMOLED displays that feature an always-on mode. They offer a comprehensive suite of health tracking features, including in-depth heart rate variability (HRV) analysis and precise sleep monitoring. The Garmin Venu 4 stands out with a dedicated LED flashlight and advanced skin temperature monitoring, alongside Garmin’s renowned “Body Battery” energy tracking. Expect strong battery performance, with the Venu 4 delivering up to 12 days and the Instinct Crossover AMOLED extending to an impressive 14 days in smartwatch mode.

Both new Garmin smartwatches also incorporate a smart lifestyle logging feature. This innovative tool provides users with valuable insights into how daily habits, such as caffeine and alcohol intake, influence their sleep quality, stress levels, and heart rate variability.

Pricing Details: Garmin Venu 4 and Instinct Crossover AMOLED

The Garmin Venu 4 is available starting at $549.99 (approximately Rs. 48,000) for the 41mm version, with the larger 45mm model priced at $599 (around Rs. 49,000). For those interested in the more rugged Instinct Crossover AMOLED, prices begin at $649.99 (roughly Rs. 57,000).

Key Specifications and Features

Both the Garmin Venu 4 and Instinct Crossover AMOLED smartwatches boast vibrant AMOLED displays with an always-on feature. The Venu 4 caters to different preferences with two sizes: a 41mm model featuring a 1.2-inch screen and a 45mm variant with a larger 1.4-inch display. The Instinct Crossover AMOLED, on the other hand, comes in a single 1.2-inch size. While both watches offer Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, only the Venu 4 includes built-in Wi-Fi.

These Garmin smartwatches are loaded with advanced sensors for comprehensive fitness and health tracking. This includes GPS, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a barometric altimeter, a compass, a gyroscope, a heat sensor, a pulse oximeter for blood oxygen saturation, and a thermometer. For durability, the Garmin Venu 4 offers 5ATM water resistance, while the Instinct Crossover AMOLED provides a more robust 10 ATM rating.

Core health monitoring features found in both models include precise heart rate tracking, advanced sleep analysis, stress level monitoring, and Pulse Ox for blood oxygen saturation. The Garmin Venu 4 further enhances its health suite with dedicated women’s health tracking, the “Body Battery” energy monitor to help users understand their daily energy reserves, and an integrated ECG app capable of detecting signs of an irregular heart rhythm, such as atrial fibrillation (Afib). Additionally, it provides skin temperature monitoring.

Customization is key, and both Garmin Venu 4 and Instinct Crossover AMOLED offer a wide selection of watch faces. For convenience, both devices support contactless payments via Garmin Pay. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the Garmin Coach feature, which provides personalized training plans. Seamless integration with the Garmin Connect app ensures all your data is easily accessible and managed.

Specifically, the Garmin Venu 4 comes equipped with an integrated speaker and microphones, along with 8GB of onboard memory. Its standout feature is a dedicated LED flashlight. When paired with a smartphone, the Venu 4 allows users to make and receive calls directly from their wrist. Voice commands offer control over watch functions, and you can even leverage your smartphone’s voice assistant for tasks like responding to text messages.

Android users will find an added convenience: the ability to view photos directly on their Garmin Venu 4 screen. The watch also comes packed with over 80 preloaded GPS and indoor sports applications, catering to a wide range of activities.

Reiterating battery performance, the Garmin Venu 4 promises up to 12 days of battery life in standard smartwatch mode, while the Instinct Crossover AMOLED extends this even further, offering up to 14 days on a single charge.
