Tackling the dangers of the topside in Arc Raiders is an immense challenge. While a solo approach might keep you stealthier, there are moments when combat is unavoidable, and having a reliable team by your side is invaluable. However, coordinating with friends can be tricky when everyone plays on different platforms.
After the recent Arc Raiders Server Slam, players had their first extensive look at the game since its debut in May. Many wondered about the possibility of cross-platform teaming. The good news is, Arc Raiders fully supports crossplay, enabling seamless cooperation with your friends.
Yes, Arc Raiders Features Crossplay!
Arc Raiders includes crossplay, and it’s active by default! This means you can easily team up with—and compete against—players across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. To invite a friend to your squad, simply navigate to the social menu (represented by the two-person icon in the bottom right corner) and add them using their unique Embark ID.
When you first launch the game, you’ll be prompted to create an Embark ID. If you’ve forgotten yours or wish to change it, access the social menu. Clicking on your profile picture will present options to copy, display, or modify your username.
How to Disable Arc Raiders Crossplay
If you prefer to play only with others on your specific platform, you can disable crossplay. Head into the game’s main settings menu, then select the ‘Gameplay’ section. Here, you’ll find the crossplay option. Simply switch it to ‘off’ to disable cross-platform matchmaking.
Now that you’re informed about Arc Raiders’ crossplay features, there’s nothing holding you back from gathering your most cunning—or most aggressive—friends to dominate the topside. While the playtest period might be brief, there’s much more excitement on the horizon for Arc Raiders. Prepare for intense cooperative battles!
