Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta Unleashes Zombies and New Overload Mode!
The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta, currently in its early access phase, just received a massive content drop today. Fans can now experience the thrilling Zombies Survival mode and test their skills in an entirely new multiplayer game type called Overload.
Zombies Mode Returns on Vandorn Farm
For those craving undead action, the classic Zombies Survival mode is now fully playable on the chilling Vandorn Farm map. If you’ve launched the beta and don’t immediately see the Zombies option, a quick restart of your game client should resolve the issue, getting you back into the fight against the hordes.
Introducing the All-New Overload Multiplayer Mode
Beyond Zombies, the Black Ops 7 beta also expands its multiplayer offerings with fresh content, including the addition of the ‘Imprint’ map. Headlining the new modes is ‘Overload,’ an exciting 6v6 objective-based game type with respawns. The core of Overload revolves around teams vying for control of a powerful ‘Overload Device.’ Once a team secures the device, their mission is to protect the carrier as they attempt to plant it in a designated zone located near the opposing team’s spawn point. This dynamic objective creates intense skirmishes and strategic plays, rewarding both offensive pushes and defensive holds.
Track Your Beta Performance
Activision has also rolled out a dedicated stat-tracking website for the Black Ops 7 beta. Players can easily enter their Activision ID to review their performance metrics, including total wins, K/D ratio, total matches played, and total kills. This provides a detailed overview of your progress and competitive standing throughout the beta period.
Beta Schedule and Full Game Launch
The Black Ops 7 beta will continue until October 8th. Currently, access is limited to players who pre-ordered the game, subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate, or have secured an access code. However, starting October 5th, the beta will open its doors to all players, running through its conclusion on October 8th. Mark your calendars, as the full game is slated for release on November 14th.
Interestingly, another major first-person shooter, EA’s Battlefield 6, is set to launch slightly earlier on October 10th, setting up an exciting month for FPS enthusiasts.
