Searching for the Silksong flea locations? These adorable, grub-like creatures are scattered across the vast world of Pharloom, and it’s your noble task to round them all up. Much like in the first game, you’ll be returning these little companions to the Fleamaster’s caravan as part of ‘The Lost Fleas’ quest. There are 30 of these hidden gems to find, taking you from the depths of Bone Bottom to the far reaches of the game’s intricate map.
While it’s wise to keep an eye out for these ‘awoo’ing friends as you progress, don’t worry if you miss a few! It often becomes much easier to revisit areas and collect the remaining fleas once you’ve unlocked Hornet’s full suite of movement abilities, including the essential double jump, wall jump, and all the convenient Bellways that crisscross the Silksong map. If you’re ready to complete your collection, our detailed list below will guide you through every single one.
Hollow Knight Silksong Flea Locations:
Here’s your comprehensive guide to finding all 30 lost fleas in Silksong:
Flea 1: The Marrow
The very first flea you’ll likely encounter is nestled within The Marrow. Simply follow the winding upper path of the room, deftly navigating the crumbling platforms until you spot the flea, helplessly tangled in some thick vines.
Flea 2: Deep Docks
To reach the second flea on your list, you’ll need the Swift Step ability. Conveniently, you usually acquire the dash right before arriving at this location. Once in the area, activate one of the levers on the left side to lower a block. Scale this block, then dash gracefully up and across to claim your prize.
Flea 3: Deep Docks
Similar to the previous flea, Swift Step is crucial for navigating the treacherous falling lava as you ascend towards this one. Head left through a hidden passage adjacent to the Bellway station to enter this precarious zone. Once through, make your way up to the flea.
Flea 4: Deep Docks
This third flea in the Deep Docks requires a bit more preparation: you won’t be able to reach it until you’ve unlocked the Clawline ability and possess a Simple Key to access the specific area. After clearing a nearby arena encounter, proceed to find the flea waiting for rescue.
Flea 5: Far Fields
Our next lost flea is cleverly hidden in the Far Fields. To reach it, you have a few options: you can loop up and over after first arriving from Deep Docks, backtrack from the safety of Pilgrim’s Rest, or if you’re further along, simply head due west from the nearest Bellway.
Flea 6: Far Fields
The second Far Fields flea demands both the Drifter’s Cloak and Cling Grip abilities. Once equipped, activate the explosive rock situated to the right of the Far Fields Bellway, then follow the newly opened path upwards to where the flea awaits.
Flea 7: Greymoor
The first Greymoor Flea isn’t just any ordinary flea; it’s a named NPC called Kratt! Freeing Kratt will grant you access to his exclusive spa service at the caravan. To reach him, simply break through the wall nearby.
Flea 8: Greymoor
To find this flea, you’ll need to journey all the way to the far east of Greymoor, into the Craw Lake area. Ascend the massive vertical chamber, then gracefully float down to the right into the marked spot. Here, you’ll discover a flea trapped within a container.
Flea 9: Greymoor
This flea is considerably easier to rescue if you already possess the Clawline and Faydown Cloak. Your route involves traversing up and over the top of Greymoor, then descending into the apex of the tower where the flea patiently awaits its liberation.
Flea 10: Bellhart
Flea number ten can be found hidden in the tunnels above Bellhart. We typically access this area from Shellwood, opening a secret path before heading upwards. You’ll definitely need the Cling Grip ability for this one, though by now, you should have it unlocked.
Flea 11: Shellwood
The Shellwood flea is quite a tricky one, demanding careful navigation through spitter plants and some precise floral pogoing. Start by heading east from the bench that connects Shellwood and Moss Grotto, and venture into the large vertical tube. Now, hugging the left-hand wall, pogo your way to the top. From there, descend down the right-hand side, being mindful to evade the aggressive plants.
Flea 12: Wormways
If you’ve ventured out of the west side of Shellwood, or are on the hunt for the Wanderer Crest from Moss Home, you’ll likely find yourself in the Wormways. For this flea, simply descend the right side of the central shaft and strike the wall to reveal a secret area. Follow it through, and the flea is all yours!
Flea 13: Hunter’s March
While exploring Hunter’s March might be tempting early on, we highly recommend holding off until you’ve acquired both Cling Grip and one of the Silksong crests that grants the classic pogo ability – this will make your life significantly easier. Upon entering from The Marrow, keep to the left-hand wall, pogoing up the various plants as you ascend. Once you reach the top of the marked area, you’ll discover a flea trapped in a cage.
Flea 14: The Slab
If you’ve unfortunately found yourself imprisoned in The Slab, now’s the perfect opportunity to rescue another flea. After recovering your gear and obtaining the Key of Heretic, head left from the bottom of the area with the two unlockable brass floor shaft doors. Continue past the Guardfly and enter the interactable door subtly placed in the background. Inside, you’ll find the flea held captive in a cage.
Flea 15: The Slab
The second flea in The Slab requires the Faydown Cloak to reach. Perform a double jump into the opening situated above the shown bench, and there you will discover the waiting flea.
Flea 16: Sinner’s Road
Sinner’s Road is not for the faint of heart, presenting one of the more challenging areas in the first act. However, if you manage to navigate its perils, you’ll be rewarded with the chance to save yet another precious flea.
Flea 17: Bilewater
If you’ve chosen the alternate, more challenging route towards the end of Silksong’s first act, your next flea encounter will be in Bilewater. Before you can free it, however, you’ll need to defeat two thieving vulpine enemies. Keep those Rosaries handy!
Flea 18: Bilewater
Bilewater’s second flea is located near its secret bench, at the conclusion of a trap-riddled hidden area. Tread carefully!
Flea 19: Exhaust Organ
If you’ve successfully navigated through the Mist and into the Exhaust Organ, you’ll find the next flea in a hidden room situated on the upper left side of the area.
Flea 20: Blasted Steps
Should you have opted to bypass the currently optional areas (Hunter’s March, Wormways, and The Slab) and instead followed the intended narrative path after Bellhart and Shellwood, you’ll arrive in the Blasted Steps. While reaching this flea might seem like a long haul, it’s quite manageable given there’s a convenient bench on the left side of the T-section (the right path leads to the Last Judge boss fight).
And there you have it – the Hollow Knight Silksong lost fleas we’ve uncovered so far! It’s highly recommended to return these precious creatures to the Fleamaster whenever you hit a new milestone. The caravan will conveniently relocate to a new spot closer to your current narrative progression, offering a safe haven to rest and regroup.
Flea 21: Underworks
You won’t be able to retrieve the Underworks flea until you’ve successfully opened access to the eastern section of the region. Once that path is clear, simply descend to the bottom of the vertical chamber, then take a sharp left into the flea’s hidden room.
Flea 22: Mount Fay
While the Mount Fay flea might beckon you on your first ascent to grab the Faydown Cloak, we strongly advise against it. Your initial journey up the mountain involves a constant battle with the biting cold, which can quickly prove fatal. Instead, secure the cloak first (this grants immunity to the frigid elements), then backtrack to the easily overlooked ceiling shaft. Break your way through the ice, and the flea will be free!
Flea 23: Whispering Vaults
To navigate the Whispering Vaults effectively and reach this flea, you’ll need the Clawline ability, along with a keen sense for puzzle-solving as you manipulate its numerous blocks into position. Apply the same cleverness to reach this particular flea.
Flea 24: Songclave
Though Flea 24 resides in Songclave, you must first journey through the Whispering Vaults to reach it, which means the Clawline is a prerequisite. Head up and out of the right-side exit leading to Songclave from the vaults, then skillfully scale the area to the flea.
Flea 25: Memorium
This next flea is quite the substantial ball of fluff! Trapped high in the rafters of Memorium, reaching it is a straightforward task. However, once liberated, this enthusiastic flea expresses its joy quite forcefully, so be prepared for a vigorous encounter.
Flea 26: Putrified Ducts
After relocating the caravan to Fleatopia within the Putrified Ducts, the Fleamaster will mention a missing warrior flea. This is Vog, who can be found higher up in the Putrified Ducts. While typically you’d avoid being caught by trap plants, you’ll actually need to be ensnared by one to access the hidden area where Vog is currently residing.
Flea 27: Choral Chambers
While you’ll enter the Choral Chambers early in Act 2, this particular section isn’t accessible until you’ve triumphed over the Cogwork Dancers. Once the path is open, explore one of the adjoining rooms to the leftmost vertical segment, then navigate the platforming challenge to reach the waiting flea.
Flea 28: Choral Chambers
This flea’s rescue involves two breakable walls. First, shatter the wall at the bottom of the tall tube housing the flea to activate a fan. Then, exit and halfway up, find and break a second wall, allowing you to take a leisurely current ride directly to the flea’s position.
Flea 29: Wisp Thicket
Although this flea is ultimately found in the Underworks, your journey to it will take you through the Wisp Thicket. To enter Wisp Thicket, you’ll need to double jump from just above where you found the third flea in Greymoor. Grab the bench, then proceed west and north. Upon re-entering the Underworks, be prepared to navigate a series of revolving sawblocks to reach this challenging flea.
Flea 30: Sands of Karak
The very last flea is located in the expansive Sands of Karak. As you platform your way across the room, keep a keen eye out for a hidden breakable wall that will lead you directly to this final companion.
With all 30 Silksong fleas now safely accounted for, you’ve completed a significant quest!
