Calling all Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts and Lord of the Rings fans! You can now snag a fantastic deal on a couple of ‘Tales of Middle-earth’ Commander Decks. As the Prime Big Deal Days approach, prices have been significantly reduced for the Riders of Rohan and Elven Council Commander Decks. These coveted LOTR Commander Decks, originally launched at $70 in June 2023, were briefly restocked in September around $50, but have now hit even lower price points. The other two decks from the collection quickly sold out and are currently fetching higher prices from resellers.
Current Deals on Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander Decks:
- Riders of Rohan Commander Deck: Now priced at approximately $40 (originally $50).
- Elven Council Commander Deck: Available for about $42 (originally $50).
- Food and Fellowship Commander Deck: Currently sold out.
- The Hosts of Mordor Commander Deck: Currently sold out.
Each Commander Deck is packed with 100 Lord of the Rings-themed cards, including 20 unique cards that are exclusive to these sets. You’ll also find a special foil-etched display card of the Commander, a Collector Booster Sample Pack (featuring one rare or higher Traditional Foil or special treatment card and one Traditional Foil special treatment common or uncommon card), plus essential accessories like a deck box, 10 double-sided tokens, a Helper card, Life Wheel, strategy insert, and a reference card.
Given the high demand, ‘Tales of Middle-earth’ and other Lord of the Rings MTG cards are frequently resold, causing prices to fluctuate. While ‘Scene Boxes’ from this series are often found at reasonable rates, the Commander Decks can be a different story.
