Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is embracing a wave of nostalgia as he announces an upcoming film festival dedicated to his memorable cinematic journey. The festival, timed to honor his immense contribution to Indian cinema, is set to commence just days before his 60th birthday. Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, the ‘Jawan’ star reflected on his career, humorously noting that while the man himself hasn’t changed much, his hair has certainly seen some evolution. The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival will kick off on October 31st, running for two weeks and screening his iconic films in select PVR INOX cinemas across more than 75 locations in 30 cities. The curated selection includes fan favorites such as ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na,’ ‘Dil Se,’ ‘Devdas,’ ‘Main Hoon Na,’ ‘Om Shanti Om,’ and his latest blockbuster ‘Jawan’. Reflecting on this special tribute, Khan shared, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films return to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion. These movies aren’t just my stories — they belong to the audience that has lovingly embraced them for over 33 years.” Khan’s recent cinematic triumphs include ‘Pathaan,’ ‘Jawan,’ and ‘Dunki’ from 2023, and he is currently filming ‘King’ alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, slated for a 2026 release.
