Tom Holland is proving that even a recent on-set injury can’t keep him away from supporting a good cause. The actor, reportedly injured during a stunt on the set of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ on Friday, September 19th, made a surprise appearance the very next day at a charity event in London.
On Saturday night, Holland, 29, was seen looking in good spirits as he stepped out with his fiancée, Zendaya, for a charity quiz night. The event, held in support of The Brother’s Trust – a charity co-founded by Tom with his brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy – marked his first public outing since the incident.
Holland took center stage at Christie’s auction house, not just as a guest, but as the quizmaster for the ‘Posh Pub Quiz.’ He even posed for photos with Zendaya and his family, including his actor brother Paddy and chef brother Sam, who shared some of the moments from the evening. The event featured prizes, including a chance to play golf with Tom himself.
For the evening, Tom sported a classic black suit with a black tie, while Zendaya complemented his look in a striking black gown.
Tom Holland’s Return to Filming Amidst Injury
Following the concussion-inducing fall on set, filming for the latest Spider-Man installment, reportedly a £150 million production, has been temporarily suspended. Holland is said to be taking a break to recover. His father, Dominic, confirmed that the actor would be absent from the set for “a while.”
