Originating in Manchester nearly two decades ago, the iconic Warehouse Project is finally making its grand Indian debut this weekend. Celebrated globally for its boundary-pushing lineups featuring world-class electronic artists and DJs, this renowned clubbing institution will host electrifying events in Bengaluru on October 24, followed by two nights in Mumbai on October 25 and 26, and a special show in Hyderabad also on October 26.

Munbir Chawla, the event’s India organizer, highlights the festival’s global renown for its vibrant mix of EDM, underground, and diverse electronic music genres. “Since its very beginning in Manchester,” Chawla explains, “The Project transforms a unique space each season, curating an extensive array of musical experiences. With India seeing a significant rise in international acts over recent years, we felt the Warehouse Project’s unique model and ethos would resonate perfectly here.”
The global programming team dedicated themselves to assembling a lineup of “super-interesting, super-exciting artists who are at the vanguard of electronic music,” many of whom will be performing in India for the very first time.

Naturally, an event of this magnitude couldn’t overlook a major cultural hub like Mumbai. Munbir elaborates, “It was crucial to extend the experience to other cities, offering them a taste of the Warehouse Project. While Mumbai will host our two-day flagship event, Hyderabad and Bengaluru will each enjoy a thrilling single-day showcase. Both cities boast robust electronic music scenes, with Hyderabad, in particular, experiencing rapid growth. Our long-term vision is to bring WHP to even more cities across India in the coming years.”
Among the headliners is Joy Orbison (no relation to the legendary Roy Orbison), a name that excites electronic music enthusiasts worldwide, credited with crafting some of the past decade’s most influential tracks. Munbir notes, “Bringing an iconic artist like him to India was a natural choice, as his artistry perfectly embodies the Warehouse Project’s commitment to exceptional curation.” The meticulously crafted lineup, which took over a year to finalize, also features dynamic acts like Verraco from South America and DJ Jyoty, known for her uniquely diverse approach to club culture.
This inaugural WHP India promises three electrifying days, showcasing a stellar roster of both local and international talent. Munbir emphasizes the organizers’ dedication to curating a cohesive lineup where artists complement each other seamlessly, resulting in a truly exciting, diverse, and perfectly balanced musical journey.
