The God of War 20th Anniversary Edition is one of five stunning limited-edition DualSense controllers released by PlayStation this October. Another popular release, the Icon Blue DualSense Controller, made its debut on October 20th as a Walmart exclusive for $84. After quickly selling out on launch day, it has also been restocked as of October 29th.
Earlier in the month, on October 2nd, two distinct Ghost of Yotei DualSense Controllers became available. Both feature a sleek white base with intricate artwork, offering players a choice between elegant black or radiant gold accents. The black variant is a PlayStation Direct exclusive, while the gold version is widely available at all major retailers.
Rounding out the month’s exciting controller releases is an updated version of the beloved Astro Bot-themed DualSense Controller. This ‘Joyful Edition’ sports a cheerful white and blue design, complete with Astro’s smiling eyes (a refresh from last year’s wide-eyed version). The Astro Bot Joyful DualSense launched on October 30th and is available for $85 at all major retailers.
For those who love the lore, PlayStation also collaborated with Dark Horse earlier this year to publish a comprehensive two-volume retrospective on the God of War franchise. This hardcover box set is offered in both standard and Deluxe Editions, each presented in a slipcase and packed with 320 pages of breathtaking artwork and insightful commentary directly from the PlayStation team behind the iconic action series.
