Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has officially launched ‘Swayamgati,’ heralding it as the world’s first production-ready autonomous electric three-wheeler, now available in the Indian market at a compelling price of ₹4 lakh.
Swayamgati represents a fusion of Omega Seiki Mobility’s advanced electric vehicle platform and a sophisticated AI-driven retrofit autonomy system. This integration delivers seamless and intelligent transportation, perfectly suited for diverse short-distance applications. These include high-traffic areas like airports, dynamic smart campuses, sprawling industrial parks, secure gated communities, and bustling urban environments.
A key innovation of this autonomous vehicle is its flexible mapping capability. Owners can easily customize the vehicle’s pre-programmed routes and desired distance coverage, adapting it precisely to their operational requirements.
Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, underscored the profound impact of this launch. He stated, “The introduction of Swayamgati transcends a mere product launch; it signifies a bold stride into the future of Indian transportation. Autonomous vehicles are no longer confined to futuristic concepts; they are an urgent necessity for nations aspiring to achieve sustainable and scalable mobility solutions.”
Narang further emphasized India’s leadership potential in technology. “With Swayamgati, we are demonstrating that India can indeed lead, rather than simply follow, global trends. This vehicle emphatically proves that cutting-edge technologies like AI, Lidar, and autonomous navigation can be engineered and manufactured ‘Made in India, for India,’ at a price point that ensures genuine accessibility. Our core philosophy is to develop technology that truly benefits people,” he added.
Vivek Dhawan, Chief Strategy Officer at Omega Seiki Mobility, also commented on the development, stating, “Our Autonomous Electric Three-Wheeler empowers us to surmount traditional electric vehicle obstacles and seamlessly integrate intelligent systems into everyday mobility. We firmly believe that autonomous EVs will fundamentally transform how India navigates its cities, campuses, and industrial zones, and we are immensely proud to be pioneering this exciting transformation.”
