Good news for candidates aspiring to appear for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE) 2025! The much-awaited window to select your preferred exam cities for the Tier 1 examination is opening today, October 22, 2025. You can access this facility on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
This crucial window will remain open from today, October 22, until October 28, 2025. During this period, candidates are required to log in to the official portal and select up to three exam cities of their choice.
Once you log in, the system will display the availability of slots based on the three cities you indicated during your application. You can then choose a specific date and shift at your preferred city. However, if all slots in your initially chosen cities are already filled, the SSC will offer a list of alternative cities where slots are available. In such cases, the commission will assign a city on a best-effort basis, and you may not have a choice in the specific date and shift.
The Tier I examination for CHSLE 2025 is scheduled to commence on November 12, 2025. This stage will feature objective-type, multiple-choice questions, available in English, Hindi, and any other language selected by the candidate during the application process. Be mindful of the negative marking: 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. For comprehensive details, it is advisable to consult the official notice on the SSC website.
