Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is set to celebrate his 60th birthday on November 2nd. While fans worldwide are gearing up to mark the occasion, two exceptionally devoted fans from Peru have undertaken a long journey to Mumbai with the sole aim of wishing the star in person and gifting him something special.
Claudia Calle and Manigret Aparicio, ardent admirers of Shah Rukh Khan, traveled all the way from Peru to Mumbai. Claudia, who also manages the SRK Peru fan club, shared that her admiration for the actor began after watching his 2004 film ‘Veer Zaara.’ “I saw the movie with my husband, and I instantly fell in love with Shah Rukh,” she told PTI. She further elaborated on her passion, mentioning that she has watched all his earlier films on DVD, including ‘Karan Arjun,’ ‘Baazigar,’ ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa,’ and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.’ “We are crazy Shah Rukh Khan fans. Our home is a tribute to him, filled with posters and memories. Words can hardly capture our love for him. Shah Rukh means love. We are so looking forward to meeting him,” Claudia expressed.
The fans’ devotion extends to naming their home in Peru ‘Mannat,’ after the actor’s famous Mumbai residence. For his 60th birthday, they have prepared a heartfelt gift: approximately 26 to 27 figurines depicting his memorable characters from various films like ‘Ra.One,’ ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,’ and ‘Jawan.’
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s own residence, Mannat, is currently undergoing renovations. The star, along with his wife Gauri Khan and children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, are temporarily residing elsewhere. Despite the renovations, fans are still hopeful of catching a glimpse of the actor. In a recent interaction on X (formerly Twitter), when asked about meeting fans at Mannat on his birthday, Khan humorously replied, “Of course but may have to wear a hard hat!!!”
Adding to the birthday buzz, an Instagram Reel shared by Farah Khan, featuring Karan Johar, has led fans to believe that Shah Rukh Khan might be celebrating his birthday in Alibaug. The video shows Farah Khan playfully commenting on Karan Johar’s ‘commercial transport’ as they journey to Alibaug, with Karan describing it as a “once in a lifetime experience.”
