Shah Rukh Khan credited the film’s monumental success to the “pure heart” of the entire team and the visionary efforts of director Aditya Chopra. “Adi possessed exceptional clarity regarding DDLJ, and we were fortunate to have the blessings of the legendary filmmaker Yash ji (Yash Chopra),” he stated.
In a separate conversation, Kajol, who brilliantly played the female lead, Simran, shared that her character resonates with millions of girls across India. “The viewers who adored this film at 16 are now introducing it to their children, embracing it even more passionately with each passing year. It has truly become the blueprint for how Indian cinema envisions love,” she added.
