Both devices are rumored to boast stunning AMOLED displays with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, be powered by Exynos chipsets, and feature an impressive triple rear camera system, spearheaded by a 50-megapixel main sensor. Adding to the buzz, both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have already made an appearance on Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification website, hinting at an imminent global debut.
Expected Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57
According to tech tipster Sanju Choudhary, both the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are slated for an India launch in March. These smartphones are expected to come with immersive Full-HD+ AMOLED displays offering a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, they are rumored to include a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. Powering these devices will be a robust 5,000mAh battery with speedy 45W charging capabilities. The Galaxy A57 is anticipated to feature a 6.6-inch screen, while its sibling, the Galaxy A37, is tipped to sport a slightly larger 6.7-inch display.
The Galaxy A57 is expected to be powered by an Exynos 1680 chipset. Its triple rear camera setup might include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor for close-up shots. Furthermore, it’s rumored to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a sleek 6.9mm thickness, and a weight of approximately 182 grams.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A37 is projected to come with an Exynos 1480 chipset and an IP67 rating for durability. Its rear camera system is expected to comprise a 50-megapixel main shooter with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle camera, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
Both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have also been spotted on the IMDA certification website, strongly indicating their impending global launch. The Galaxy A37 is identified by the model number A376B/DS, and the Galaxy A57 by SM-A576B/DS. The ‘DS’ in these model numbers confirms that both devices will support dual SIM cards.
While the IMDA listing doesn’t dive into detailed specifications for the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, it does confirm essential connectivity features, including 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi.
