Great news for job seekers! The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially commenced the application process for its 2025 Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment drive. Starting October 31, 2025, interested candidates can apply for a total of 2569 positions. These openings include Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant roles across various railway departments.
The application window is open until November 30, 2025. For those planning to apply, make sure to complete your application fee payment by December 2, 2025. A modification window will also be available from December 3 to December 12, 2025, for any necessary edits to submitted applications.
To be eligible, candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government guidelines.
How to Apply for RRB JE Recruitment 2025:
Follow these simple steps to submit your application:
- Visit the official RRB application portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
- Locate and click on the RRB JE Recruitment 2025 registration link on the homepage.
- Fill in your basic registration details on the new page.
- Submit the registration form and log in to your account.
- Complete the application form with all required information and proceed to pay the application fee.
- After successful submission, download the application confirmation page.
- Keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for your records.
Application Fee:
- General category candidates (excluding those eligible for fee concession) need to pay ₹500. A refund of ₹400, after deducting applicable bank charges, will be processed upon appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1.
- Candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minority, and EBC categories are required to pay ₹250. This fee will also be refunded upon appearing for the first CBT.
