RRB RPF PET and PMT Details
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for RPF Constable Recruitment 2025 are scheduled to be conducted from November 13 to December 6, 2025. Candidates who successfully clear these tests will move on to the document verification process on the very same day.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This test assesses candidates’ physical fitness and stamina. It typically involves activities such as running, long jump, and high jump, all designed to evaluate agility, strength, and endurance. Candidates are advised to prepare diligently and adhere to all safety instructions during the test.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The PMT ensures that candidates meet the prescribed physical standards. This involves measuring height, chest circumference, and weight according to RPF regulations. Only those who fulfill these specific criteria will be eligible to proceed to subsequent recruitment stages.
Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the testing centers well-prepared, having maintained their physical fitness in advance, and to strictly follow all testing guidelines.
E-Call Letters and Important Candidate Instructions
E-call letters will be made available approximately two weeks prior to your scheduled exam date. These letters are crucial and will contain all essential information, including the exact date, time, and venue for your tests. Candidates must meticulously check their e-call letter for all instructions and remember to bring a printed copy to the exam center.
Failing to present your e-call letter could lead to disqualification from the test. In addition, candidates should bring valid photo identification and any other documents specifically mentioned in the official notification.
Essential Documents for Verification
Candidates who successfully complete both the PET and PMT phases will be required to undergo document verification on the same day. It is mandatory to bring all original documents, along with two sets of self-attested photocopies, to the verification center. This includes educational certificates, caste or category certificates (if applicable), and any other proofs as outlined in Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. RPF-02/2024. This verification process is critical to ensure that only eligible candidates advance further in the recruitment journey.
