Rocket, an innovative AI-driven platform that simplifies app development, announced on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, that it has successfully secured $15 million in seed funding. This significant investment round was spearheaded by prominent venture capital firms Salesforce Ventures and Accel. The Surat-headquartered startup plans to strategically deploy this capital to bolster its research and development efforts, accelerate product innovation, and significantly expand its global presence.
A key part of Rocket’s ambitious growth strategy includes establishing a new North American headquarters in Palo Alto, California. Furthermore, the company intends to substantially expand its engineering and product teams in India, with a goal to double its total headcount over the next 12 to 15 months.
Deepak Dhanak, co-founder and COO of Rocket, expressed his enthusiasm for the new funding: ‘This investment will be instrumental in enhancing our product capabilities, especially as we venture into new markets. Our Palo Alto office will serve as a vital gateway to Silicon Valley’s dynamic enterprise ecosystem, where we continue to observe immense demand for scalable, AI-native application-building solutions.’
