This latest addition to Realme’s C-series lineup is set to be an affordable option, rumored to arrive with three different memory and storage combinations, along with a choice of two vibrant colors. It’s also believed to be the successor to the Realme C73 5G, which was released last year featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a substantial 6,000mAh battery.

According to an insider report from Xpertpick, the Realme C83 5G will hit the Indian market in three distinct variants: a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option, a 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, and a higher-end 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The projected market operating prices (MOP) for these versions are Rs. 13,499, Rs. 14,499, and Rs. 17,499, respectively.
The Realme C83 5G, internally known by its model number RMX5256, is expected to captivate users with its choice of Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green color finishes.
This forthcoming Realme C83 5G is strategically positioned to slot in below the Realme C85 5G in the Indian smartphone landscape. The Realme C85 5G, launched in November 2025, debuted with a starting price of Rs. 16,499 for its 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Consumers can anticipate that the new C83 model will feature significant enhancements compared to last year’s Realme C73 5G.
For context, the Realme C73 5G made its debut in June last year, priced at Rs. 10,499 for its entry-level 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The 4GB + 128GB variant was available for Rs. 11,499. This model offered a selection of Crystal Purple, Jade Green, and Onyx Black color choices.
The Realme C73 5G boasted a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,604 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, all powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
