Heartbreaking news has emerged from the Punjabi music scene with the passing of beloved singer Rajvir Jawanda. The 35-year-old artist succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning, after a prolonged and brave battle for life in intensive care following a road accident. His untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the industry and beyond, with numerous celebrities and public figures sharing their tributes.
The accident occurred on September 27 when Jawanda’s motorcycle collided with stray cattle on the road, resulting in severe head and spinal injuries. Doctors had described his condition as critical, with minimal brain activity and no significant improvement. He remained on ventilator support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali until his passing.
Following the news of his death, tributes have flooded in from across the spectrum. Actor Neeru Bajwa shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, though she later deleted the post.
