From October 27 to November 2, the state-owned energy transmission giant, Power Grid, dedicated a full week to fostering vigilance and integrity across all 300 of its establishments nationwide.
The week commenced with CMD Ravindra Kumar leading employees in an integrity pledge, setting a strong tone for the initiative. Throughout the week, Power Grid rolled out diverse outreach programs designed to engage both staff and the wider community. These included lively walkathons, energizing cyclathons, traditional puppet shows, community assemblies (gram sabhas), and various competitions, all aimed at highlighting the crucial role of collective action in forging a corruption-free society.
A compelling Nukkad Natak, or street play, was a highlight of the week, performed at the Corporate Office and several nearby areas. This powerful theatrical approach effectively conveyed messages of shared responsibility and ethical conduct to employees and local communities, as detailed in a company press release.
