The highly anticipated Oppo Find X9 series is set to make its official debut in China on October 16. The company has already offered glimpses into the specifications and design of these upcoming smartphones. Oppo Find X9 Series Appears on Indian BIS and Thai NBTC Websites
The upcoming flagship Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro have appeared on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database and Thailand’s NBTC certification website (as reported by @ZionsAnvin). The presence of these devices, with model numbers CPH2797 and CPH2791, strongly indicates an imminent launch in both countries. This isn’t the first time an Oppo Find X9 series phone has been seen on the BIS database. Previously, a handset with the model number CPH2791 was listed on the Indian certification website. While earlier reports suggested this model number belonged to the standard Oppo Find X9, new information indicates it’s actually for the Oppo Find X9 Pro. It now appears the standard model is also undergoing certification in India.
Oppo has already confirmed the color options for the Find X9: Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black. The Find X9 Pro will be available in Velvet Titanium and Frost White. Both devices are confirmed to feature the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and will run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
The upcoming Find X9 series is also expected to boast a powerful 200-megapixel (f/2.1) periscope telephoto rear camera, complete with a 70mm focal length. Earlier reports suggest the standard Find X9 model could feature a 6.59-inch OLED flat display, offering a 1.5K resolution, a unique “R-angle” curve, and impressively slim “ultra-narrow equilateral” bezels.
For photography and video recording, the Oppo Find X9 is rumored to include a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear camera system might consist of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide-angle lens, a Sony LYT600 periscope telephoto sensor with an f/2.6 aperture, and a 2-megapixel “multi-spectral” lens.
