The highly anticipated OnePlus 15 officially debuted in China during the brand’s October 2025 launch event. This new flagship smartphone brings significant enhancements over its predecessor, the OnePlus 13. At its heart lies Qualcomm’s advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, complemented by a robust 7,300mAh battery. Users will appreciate its ultra-fast charging capabilities, including 120W Super Flash wired charging and 50W Wireless Flash Charge. The device will be available in China through the company’s online store, offered in three distinct and stylish color options. Photography enthusiasts will note the OnePlus 15’s redesigned square triple-rear camera system, highlighted by a powerful 50-megapixel main sensor.

OnePlus 15: Pricing and Market Release

The OnePlus 15 kicks off at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000) for its entry-level configuration, which includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For those seeking more power and space, the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,299 (about Rs. 53,000), while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option will cost CNY 4,599 (around Rs. 57,000). A 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model is also available for CNY 4,899 (roughly Rs. 61,000).

The premium OnePlus 15 variant, featuring a massive 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage, is set at CNY 5,399 (roughly Rs. 67,000). Consumers can choose from three elegant finishes: Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune. The device is scheduled to go on sale in China starting October 28, exclusively through OnePlus’s official online platform.

Running on ColorOS 16, based on Android 16 for the Chinese market, the OnePlus 15 showcases a stunning 6.78-inch third-generation BOE Flexible AMOLED display. This vibrant screen offers an impressive 165Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K (1,272×2,772 pixels) resolution. It achieves a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, features a 330Hz touch sampling rate, and delivers a crisp 450 ppi pixel density. Furthermore, the display supports a full 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and renders an astounding 1.07 billion colors.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s advanced octa-core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, coupled with an Adreno 840 GPU. This powerful processor boasts a configuration of two performance cores and six efficiency cores, achieving a formidable peak clock speed of 4.608GHz. Storage and memory options are generous, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.

For photography, the OnePlus 15 is equipped with a versatile triple-rear camera system. It features a high-resolution 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor with a 24mm focal length, a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) telephoto camera. Selfie duties are handled by a 32-megapixel (f/2.4) front-facing camera. The rear camera array is capable of recording breathtaking 8K resolution videos at 30 frames per second.

The OnePlus 15 comes loaded with a comprehensive suite of sensors, including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, color temperature sensor, electronic compass, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, laser focus sensor, spectrum sensor, and an IR blaster. For enhanced security, it integrates an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options are robust, featuring 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS support.

Powering this new flagship is a large 7,300mAh battery, supporting both 120W Super Flash Charge wired charging and 50W Wireless Flash Charge. The device maintains a sleek profile, measuring 161.42×76.67×8.10mm and weighing approximately 211g.
