Exciting news for smartphone enthusiasts! The highly anticipated OnePlus 15 is rumored to debut globally around mid-November. While an official India launch date is still under wraps, it’s widely expected to coincide with the global unveiling. Preceding this, the device, along with the OnePlus Ace 6, is slated for an October 27 reveal in China. The Indian variant of the OnePlus 15 is confirmed to feature Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and run on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android 16. Its Chinese counterpart will similarly operate on Android 16, but with ColorOS 16.
OnePlus 15 Global and India Launch Details Emerge
A tech blogger recently shared a screenshot of the OnePlus 15 microsite in Sweden, indicating a potential launch in that country on November 12. This page also hinted at new accessories: a OnePlus Everyday Sling bag and a SuperVOOC 120W Dual Port GaN Power Adapter Kit, both priced at approximately SEK 599 (around Rs. 5,600). The microsite was reportedly still live at the time of this discovery.
Further reports suggest the OnePlus 15 might arrive in India on November 13. An Amazon microsite has already confirmed that the flagship phone will be available for purchase in India through both Oneplus.in and Amazon’s own platform. Similar to its global release, the Indian version will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and run on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16.
Regarding pricing in India, the OnePlus 15 is projected to fall within the Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 75,000 range. Interestingly, a recent report suggested that the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration might be priced lower than its predecessor, the OnePlus 13. This specific variant is tipped to retail for GBP 949 (roughly Rs. 1,11,000) in the UK.
Beyond the processor, OnePlus has also confirmed several other key specifications. The OnePlus 15 will boast a robust 7,300mAh Glacier Battery, supporting rapid 120W Super Flash Charge and 50W Wireless Flash Charge. Its display will be a third-generation 1.5K BOE Flexible Oriental OLED panel, offering an impressive refresh rate of up to 165Hz. For photography, it is confirmed to feature a triple-rear camera system, highlighted by a 50-megapixel Sony main sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom capabilities.
