Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated film, ‘They Call Him OG,’ directed by Sujeeth, is making waves at the box office, raking in ₹117.37 crore net in India by the end of its third day. The movie, which also stars Emraan Hashmi and Priyanka Mohan, had a phenomenal opening, collecting ₹63.75 crore net on its first day and ₹21 crore from premieres alone.
While Friday saw a slight dip of 70%, with the film earning ₹18.75 crore, its overall worldwide collection, including premieres, reached ₹171 crore in two days. The majority of its earnings are from the Telugu states, with Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi versions contributing moderately. The film registered a 42.08% occupancy in Telugu on Saturday, indicating strong audience interest.
‘They Call Him OG’ is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment. Alongside Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi, the film features Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Thaman S has composed the music for the film.
Pawan Kalyan portrays Ojas Gambheera, a former gangster drawn back into action, while Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu debut as the antagonist, Omi Bhau. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film has already become Pawan Kalyan’s highest-grossing movie to date.
