The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has announced another postponement for the Combined Police Service Examination (CPSE) 2024. The exam, which was slated to take place on October 5 and 6, 2025, has been rescheduled due to what the board describes as ‘unforeseen developments’. This marks the third time the examination has been delayed.
According to reports, the OPRB’s decision to postpone the exam follows a statement indicating that a new date will be communicated later. While no specific reason has been officially cited for this latest delay, sources suggest it might be linked to potential irregularities detected in the process.
Previously, candidates had received their OPRB SI Admit Card 2025, which was released on the official Odisha Police Recruitment Board website. The examination structure includes three papers. Paper I and Paper II were scheduled for October 5, 2025, with two shifts: Paper I from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Paper II from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Paper III was planned for October 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Candidates appearing for the exam are reminded to bring their Admit Card, a valid original photo ID (such as Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar printout), and a photocopy of their ID with their roll number and signature. For further updates and official details, applicants should regularly check the Odisha Police Recruitment Board’s official website.
