Exam Pattern Details
The examination will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format, offering questions in both English and Hindi. The exam is designed to be 200 marks in total and candidates will be given a duration of 3 hours to complete it. The JE recruitment exam is divided into three parts:
- Part-I: Consists of 140 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the relevant engineering discipline.
- Part-II: Features 30 MCQs covering General Awareness.
- Part-III: Includes another 30 MCQs focused on Reasoning abilities.
It’s important for candidates to note that each correct MCQ answer will be awarded one mark. However, for every incorrect answer, a penalty of 0.25 marks (one-fourth of a mark) will be deducted. Questions that are left unanswered will neither receive marks nor incur any deductions.
The registration period for the NHPC JE recruitment 2025 commenced on September 2, 2025, and concluded on October 1, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 248 vacancies across various positions.
