For the first time, Indian consumers can choose from all-electric, petrol, and diesel variants of the iconic G-Class. Priced at an ex-showroom Rs 2.9 crores (before options), this powerful SUV is imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Under the hood, the new G 450d boasts a substantial performance upgrade over its predecessors, the G 350d and G 400d. It features a formidable 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which now churns out an impressive 367hp—a 37hp increase over the G 400d—and a massive 750Nm of torque, adding an extra 50 Nm to its pulling power.

While preserving the timeless and revered silhouette of the G 400d, the G 450d introduces several thoughtful visual and functional enhancements. The front fascia now sports a distinctive grille with four elegant chrome-finished horizontal slats, complemented by brand-new 20-inch AMG alloy wheels.
