However, you’re not left entirely without help. Deep of Night provides three exclusive Relic slots, brimming with potent power-ups. These new Relics grant dual effects, offering immense potential to bolster your builds and create powerful synergies with your current loadouts.
Understanding Everdark Sovereign Events
Starting June 19, one of the seven formidable Night Lords will headline a special Everdark Sovereign expedition at the Roundtable Hold each week. These expeditions mirror regular ones, with one crucial difference: the final day culminates in an even more powerful, upgraded Night Lord.
Our initial encounters with the Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaw Night Lord reveal a truly intensified battle. This boss starts directly in its second phase and unleashes devastating new Area-of-Effect attacks, significantly increasing the challenge. While this might be specific to the Gaping Jaw, its Everdark Sovereign variant retains its original weaknesses. So, by focusing on exploiting those vulnerabilities (like using poison in this example), your fundamental boss-fighting strategy should still hold true.
Unlocking Everdark Sovereign Events
To participate in an Everdark Sovereign event, you must first triumph over the standard version of that specific Night Lord. We strongly advise defeating all seven regular Night Lords to guarantee access to all present and upcoming Everdark Sovereign challenges.
Exclusive Everdark Sovereign Rewards
Conquering Everdark Sovereign bosses yields valuable Sovereign Sigils. This unique currency can be exchanged for powerful, exclusive Relics and Relic Rites from a new vendor, as well as cosmetic skins. Interestingly, the skins are identical to those available at the mirror, but using Sovereign Sigils allows you to conserve your Murk for other purchases.
Furthermore, the vendor at the Roundtable Hold’s Collector Signboard offers the ability to trigger Shifting Earth events whenever you choose. This opens up zones brimming with valuable items. While this might seem less critical initially, it will prove indispensable for pinpointing and exploiting the weaknesses of future Everdark Sovereign Night Lords.
Players can also utilize the ‘Alter Great Site of Grace’ option to toggle between illuminated and dark versions of the Roundtable Hold for a small fee of 1 Sovereign Sigil. And if you’re feeling fancy, you can repair the ‘Cracked Witch’s Brooch’ to its pristine state for 3 Sovereign Sigils. Keep in mind, this repair is purely cosmetic and doesn’t alter the Relic’s effects, so it’s a splurge best saved if your Sigil reserves are healthy.
