Hollywood stars Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have reportedly decided to separate after 28 years of marriage. This news follows their decision to list their sprawling 11,800-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills for $16.5 million back in February.
According to People magazine, the separation has been confirmed. Loughlin, known for her role on “Full House,” and her husband are parents to Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli.
Loughlin’s representative confirmed that while the couple is currently living apart and taking a break from their marriage, there are no legal proceedings in motion at this time. This suggests there might still be a possibility for reconciliation.
The couple has navigated challenging personal times recently. In 2020, they both pleaded guilty to charges of wire and mail fraud stemming from a college admissions scandal. They were accused of paying $500,000 to facilitate their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California, falsely presenting them as athletic recruits despite their lack of involvement in the sport.
Loughlin served a two-month prison sentence, concluding with her release in December 2020. Since then, she has been making a comeback in the television industry, appearing in shows like “When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas” and the 2023 TV film “Fall into Winter,” as well as a recent guest spot on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Reflecting on overcoming difficulties, Loughlin previously shared, “As an actress, I hear ‘no’ a lot, so I just have to be myself and persevere and try not to let in negativity.” She added, “My advice is to just keep moving forward. Everyone has good times and bad times. That’s life. I think you just have to pick yourself up. Nobody said life was going to be a breeze. There’s beauty in life, but there’s also hardship in life.”
