The arrival of the Lava Agni 4 in India has been officially confirmed! The homegrown smartphone manufacturer has released the first teaser for its upcoming Agni series device on its official website. This sneak peek showcases the handset in a stylish black finish, featuring a distinctive horizontally aligned rear camera module. Speculations are rife that the Lava Agni 4 will boast a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, a large 6.78-inch display, and an impressive 7,000mAh battery. This new model is poised to succeed the Lava Agni 3, which made its Indian debut last October, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset.

Lava Agni 4 Set for November Launch in India

Lava has officially announced through its India website that the Agni 4 will be launching in November. Although the precise launch date is still under wraps, the teaser poster provides an exciting preview of the phone’s back, confirming details from earlier leaks. The device is shown in a sleek black color, hinting at a sophisticated aesthetic.

The Lava Agni 4 will sport a distinct horizontally aligned, pill-shaped camera island on its rear. This setup is expected to house a dual-sensor camera system, suggesting advanced photographic capabilities.

Previous leaks have indicated that the Lava Agni 4 might carry a price tag of around Rs. 25,000 in India. It is rumored to feature a vibrant 6.78-inch Full-HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be a cutting-edge 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with fast UFS 4.0 storage for seamless performance.

Battery life is also a key highlight, with a rumored capacity exceeding 7,000mAh. For photography enthusiasts, the phone is anticipated to include a dual rear camera setup, featuring two impressive 50-megapixel sensors.

Its predecessor, the Lava Agni 3, was launched in India last October, priced at Rs. 20,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. That model featured a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,200×2,652 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside a 1.74-inch AMOLED touch screen on its rear panel. It was powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset.

In terms of cameras, the Lava Agni 3 offered a versatile triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, it came with a 16-megapixel front camera. The device was equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supported 66W fast charging.
