The highly anticipated Tamil film ‘Mask,’ featuring Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah, is officially slated for a theatrical release on November 21. The announcement came from the filmmakers on Friday, October 24.
A brand new poster was revealed to share this exciting news. It showcases an intriguing aerial view of Kavin’s character casually lying on a motorcycle, which appears to be cruising over a vast field of currency. Actor Kavin himself took to social media to share the November 21 release date, enthusiastically stating, ‘Unmasking #Mask.’
Interestingly, the new poster also highlighted a significant shift in the film’s production. While Vetri Maaran’s Grass Root Company was initially listed as a producer, he had previously announced that ‘Bad Girl’ would be his banner’s final production. Consequently, the updated poster now credits Vetri simply as a ‘mentor’ for the project.
Production for ‘Mask’ is now exclusively handled by Andrea’s ‘The Show Must Go On’ banner, in collaboration with SP Chokkalingam’s Black Madras Films.
This film marks the directorial debut of Vikarnan Ashok and also stars Ruhani Sharma, Charlie, Bala Saravanan, and VJ Archana Chandhoke in crucial roles.
Described as a dark comedy thriller, the movie features music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with RD Rajasekhar overseeing cinematography and R Ramar handling the editing.
Kavin was most recently seen in Sathish Krishnan’s ‘Kiss.’ His upcoming projects include ‘Hi!,’ where he stars alongside Nayanthara, and an as-yet-untitled film directed by Ken Royson, featuring Priyanka Mohan.
