Kantara Chapter 1 worldwide box office collection: The film Kantara Chapter 1 has witnessed a remarkable surge in its box office performance, particularly during its second weekend. It recorded an impressive 66% jump in domestic collections on Saturday alone, leading to an exceptional worldwide gross and solidifying its position as an all-time blockbuster.

Kantara Chapter 1 box office update
On its 10th day in theaters, Kantara Chapter 1 collected a net ₹37 crore in India. This represents a significant 66% increase from Friday and a nearly 75% jump compared to its first week’s Thursday collection. This surge has propelled the film’s 10-day net earnings in India to ₹396.65 crore (₹476 crore gross). With overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth, the film is projected to have a very strong second Sunday, potentially adding over ₹40 crore to its domestic collection.
Hombale Films, the production house behind Kantara Chapter 1, announced earlier that the period action drama had already grossed ₹509 crore worldwide in its first week. Following this trajectory, the film has now reached an estimated ₹590 crore globally after 10 days. Industry insiders, however, place its earnings closer to ₹560 crore. Regardless of the precise figure, the film has successfully entered the list of the top 25 highest-grossing Indian films of all time, surpassing the collections of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Dhoom 3’, both of which grossed ₹558 crore.
If the ₹590 crore mark is accurate, Kantara Chapter 1 has also exceeded the lifetime earnings of other successful films such as ‘Saiyaara’ (₹570 crore), ‘Padmaavat’ (₹585 crore), and ‘Sanju’ (₹589 crore).
