Last year, Infinix delighted gamers with the GT 30 Pro, boasting a vibrant 144Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset. Now, it seems Infinix is gearing up to unveil its successor, the Infinix GT 50 Pro, a smartphone set to further elevate the mobile gaming experience. While an official announcement is still pending, exciting design renders and detailed specifications of this upcoming device have already surfaced online. The GT 50 Pro is rumored to pack an even more powerful MediaTek Dimensity chipset, a high-resolution 50-megapixel rear camera, and a substantial 6,500mAh battery.

Infinix GT 50 Pro: Expected Specifications and Design Insights

Leaks from Passionategeekz.com, in collaboration with tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu), have provided an early look at the Infinix GT 50 Pro’s design and features. The renders depict the phone in a sleek black finish, highlighted by vibrant green LED lights positioned at the bottom. The device showcases a sophisticated carbon fiber-like texture on its rear panel, with the camera module elegantly placed in the upper left corner. (Image credit: Passionategeekz/ Sanju Choudhary)

Reports suggest the Infinix GT 50 Pro will boast a stunning 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display, offering a crisp 1.5K resolution and a silky-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, perfect for immersive gaming and media consumption. Powering the device will be a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Storage options are expected to include generous 256GB and 512GB variants.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a versatile camera setup. The rear system is rumored to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 0.8µm pixel size, ensuring sharp and steady shots. This will likely be complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and another unspecified 8-megapixel sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 13-megapixel front camera is anticipated.

Software-wise, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to run on Android 16, enriched with various AI capabilities for an enhanced user experience. A robust 6,500mAh battery is projected to power the device, supporting fast 45W wired charging and convenient 30W wireless charging. Additionally, it might offer 10W wired reverse charging and 5W wireless reverse charging, allowing users to power up other devices on the go.

This new model is poised to succeed last year’s Infinix GT 30 Pro, which itself featured a 144Hz AMOLED display and the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset. The GT 30 Pro was notable for its distinctive Cyber Mecha Design 2.0 and dedicated GT shoulder triggers, alongside a 5,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G made its debut last June, priced at Rs. 24,999 for its base model, which included 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
