In a moment that has captured hearts, an IndiGo pilot shared a particularly special flight with his “princess passenger.” The pilot, known as Captain Walker on Instagram, made a touching in-flight announcement for his 8-month-old daughter, who was on board for the very first time along with her mother.
“Ladies and gentlemen, a very good afternoon. I hope you all have settled down, I will take a minute of yours,” the pilot began. He then revealed, “This flight to Delhi is very special for me because on board I have my wife and I have my daughter who is just 18 months old. It’s the first time they’re travelling with me.” As he waved towards his family, the passengers on the flight erupted in cheers and applause.
The adorable toddler, Rubani, was later seen in her father’s lap, waving goodbye to passengers as they disembarked, with one traveler calling it the “best flight of my life.”
Captain Walker’s Instagram is filled with videos and pictures of his daughter’s adventures, often highlighting his family life and his role as a pilot.
