The Jimny 5-door, known as the ‘Jimny Nomade’ in Japan, launched there in January 2025 to an overwhelming reception, with over 50,000 orders placed within mere days. Beyond Japan, key international markets enjoying this Indian-made SUV include Mexico, Australia, South Africa, and Chile, highlighting its broad appeal.

What makes the Jimny 5-door so popular? It boasts a sturdy ladder-frame chassis and Suzuki’s impressive ALLGRIP PRO four-wheel-drive system, ready for any adventure. Under the hood, a reliable 1.5-litre petrol engine delivers 105 bhp and 134 Nm of torque, paired with either a smooth 5-speed manual or a convenient 4-speed automatic gearbox. With a commanding 210 mm of ground clearance, it’s built to tackle diverse terrains.
