The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has officially announced the Stage-I results for Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik positions for the CGEPT 01/2026 and 02/2026 batches. These crucial results, released on October 29, 2025, are now accessible on the official ICG recruitment portal. The Stage-I computer-based written examination took place from September 19 to 22, 2025. Candidates can check their status by logging in with their registered email ID and password. Successful candidates will move on to the demanding Stage-II of the selection process.
What Comes Next? Stage-II and Beyond
Those who have successfully cleared Stage-I will be invited to Stage-II. This phase is critical and comprises a thorough document verification, a rigorous physical fitness test, and an initial medical examination. These Stage-II assessments are anticipated to occur in mid-to-late November 2025. It’s important to note that selections for Stage-II will proceed on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
The journey doesn’t end there. Following Stage-II, candidates will advance to Stage-III, which involves final verification and pre-enrolment medical assessments conducted at INS Chilka. The final hurdle, Stage-IV, requires final document verification by the relevant boards or institutions. Ultimately, the merit list for Navik (GD/DB) positions will be compiled zone-wise, while for Yantrik posts, it will be on an all-India basis.
