Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced the impressive lineup of 40 global startups chosen for its 2025 Generative AI Accelerator (GAIA) program, with India proudly contributing three innovative companies to this prestigious cohort.
Among the ten selected from the dynamic Asia-Pacific and Japan region, Hyperbots, Smallest AI, and Stimuler stood out as India’s representatives, poised to make significant advancements in the generative AI landscape.
The GAIA program is an intensive eight-week journey designed to propel early-stage companies specializing in foundational generative AI technologies. Participants benefit immensely from up to $1 million in AWS credits, invaluable mentorship, and comprehensive access to AWS’s cutting-edge AI technology stack.
Delving into the Indian selections: Hyperbots empowers Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) with an agentic AI platform that boosts productivity in finance and accounting. Smallest AI focuses on developing advanced Voice AI models to streamline real-time communication across various enterprise centers. Meanwhile, Stimuler offers a unique voice AI application dedicated to helping non-native English speakers achieve fluency.
The accelerator kicks off on October 13 at Amazon HQ1 in Seattle and culminates in December at AWS re:Invent 2025 in Las Vegas. This grand finale will provide a crucial platform for all 40 startups to showcase their groundbreaking solutions to a global audience of potential investors, clients, partners, and AWS leadership.
Sherry Karamdashti, General Manager and Head of Startups in North America at AWS, emphasized the program’s vital role: “The speed of generative AI innovation is truly remarkable, spanning diverse sectors from biotech to creative industries and industrial applications. This year’s cohort is a testament to our commitment to accelerating this innovation and ensuring it delivers tangible, real-world impact. We are dedicated to removing obstacles and amplifying opportunities, enabling these visionary leaders to develop solutions that can transform the world.”
