The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has successfully concluded its summer placement drive for the 2025–27 batch, extending over 580 offers to students from its Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM). This achievement was announced by the institute on Tuesday.
The placement drive saw a remarkable highest stipend of ₹3.95 lakh per month, with the top international stipend reaching ₹2.5 lakh per month. The average stipend saw a notable increase to ₹1.67 lakh per month, up from ₹1.43 lakh in the previous year, while the median stipend also rose to ₹1.72 lakh per month. Notably, the top 50% of the batch secured an average stipend of ₹2.18 lakh per month.

Professor Prem Prakash Dewani, the Placement Chairperson at IIM Lucknow, attributed the successful outcome to the students’ robust academic and professional grounding. He stated, “This year, we witnessed a commendable summer placement drive, with participation from marquee firms across diverse domains. The success of the drive stands as a testament to the exceptional talent pool that IIM Lucknow nurtures. Our rigorous academic framework and dynamic curriculum continue to shape future leaders who create lasting value for organisations.”
The current batch, comprising 187 freshers and 345 students with prior work experience, secured internships across various sectors including Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Retail, and E-commerce. This blend of experience levels contributed to the diverse range of opportunities available.

A unique highlight of this year’s placements was the Adani Group’s participation, offering selected interns a tuition fee waiver alongside a competitive stipend – a first for the institute.
The list of top recruiters includes prestigious names such as Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, American Express, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, ITC, J.P. Morgan Chase, McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, PwC, Reliance, and Tata Administrative Services, underscoring their continued confidence in IIM Lucknow’s talent.
Furthermore, the placement drive saw participation from several new recruiters, including Barclays, CRISIL, D.E. Shaw, Henkel, HSBC (Investment Banking), Michelin, Mondelez, Morgan Stanley (IB), Nestle, Nivea, Salesforce, Qualcomm, and Wells Fargo, indicating a growing corporate engagement with the institute.
